Terms of Service
Effective date: To be confirmed: effective date.
These Terms are an agreement between you and ClarityLog ("ClarityLog", "we", "us") about your use of ClarityLog (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
1. Who can use ClarityLog
You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract. The Service is meant for mental health clinicians, students and supervisors using it for their own professional records.
2. Your account
Keep your login secure and tell us right away about any unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity under your account.
3. What ClarityLog is, and is not
ClarityLog is a record-keeping and planning tool. It is not legal, regulatory or clinical advice, and it does not replace your licensing board, your supervisor or your employer.
Licensure requirements. We work to keep state requirements accurate, but boards change their rules and interpret them differently. You are responsible for confirming your requirements with your board and for the accuracy of anything you submit. We are not responsible for a board's decision about your hours or application.
AI features. AI output can be incomplete or wrong. Review it before relying on it.
4. Client information
Record clients by initials only. Do not enter client names, dates of birth, contact details or other identifiers. You are responsible for complying with the laws, ethics codes and employer policies that apply to you, including confidentiality and record-keeping rules.
ClarityLog is not a HIPAA business associate and does not sign Business Associate Agreements. Do not use it to store protected health information.
5. Your content
You own the records and files you add ("Your Content"). You give us permission to host, process and display Your Content only as needed to provide and improve the Service, as described in the Privacy Policy. You can export Your Content at any time.
6. Supervisors and sharing
If you link a supervisor or create a share link, the people you share with can see the records you share. Supervisors who create evaluations or notes about a supervisee are responsible for that content.
7. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the Service. For example, do not:
- break the law or infringe anyone's rights;
- upload malware, or try to access accounts or systems that aren't yours;
- falsify hours, evaluations or signatures;
- resell the Service, or copy it to build a competing product;
- overload the Service, or scrape it by automated means.
8. Purchases
You can use ClarityLog in one of two ways. Prices are in US dollars and shown again at checkout.
- One-time purchase ($79). One payment gives your account ClarityLog's paid features for as long as your account is open and we offer the Service. There is no subscription. If you're not satisfied, email claritylogpro@gmail.com within 30 days of purchase for a full refund.
- Monthly plan ($7.99 a month). Your first 14 days are free; this applies once per account. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your card is charged $7.99 then, and every month after that until you cancel. You can cancel anytime in Settings, and you keep access until the end of the month you've paid for. Monthly payments are not refunded for partial months.
Supervisors use ClarityLog free. Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices may change, but a change will not affect a one-time purchase you've already made, and we'll tell you before a new monthly price applies to you.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CLARITYLOG WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA OR LICENSURE DELAYS.
